Terms & Conditions

1. Consent to Treatment

   I understand that Hijama (wet cupping) and recovery massage are complementary therapies and are not a replacement for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

   I voluntarily consent to receive Hijama & Massage Therapy from a qualified practitioner.

   I understand that no guarantees can be made regarding treatment outcomes.

2. Medical Disclosure

   I confirm that I have provided accurate and complete information regarding my health, medications, allergies, pregnancy status, surgeries, and medical conditions.

   I understand that failure to disclose relevant medical information may increase risks and may affect treatment suitability.

3. Risks and Side Effects

   I understand that Hijama may involve:

   • Temporary discomfort or pain
   • Minor bleeding
   • Bruising or skin discoloration
   • Dizziness or light-headedness
   • Temporary fatigue
   • Small scars or marks
   • Risk of infection if aftercare instructions are not followed

4. Practitioner Rights

   Proud Mu'min Method Hijama reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment where it is considered unsafe or inappropriate.

   Treatment may be postponed if a client appears unwell, intoxicated, or has undisclosed medical conditions.

5. Appointment Policy

   A £10 deposit is required to secure an appointment for Hijama & Massage Therapy booked through the website and will be deducted from the treatment price.

   Full payment is due on the day of treatment unless agreed otherwise.

   A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.

   Missed appointments or late cancellations may result in a cancellation fee or loss of deposit.

6. Aftercare Responsibility

   Clients agree to follow all aftercare advice provided.

   Proud Mu'min Method Hijama is not responsible for complications arising from failure to follow aftercare instructions.

7. Confidentiality

   All client information is kept confidential and handled in accordance with UK data protection laws.

   Information will not be shared without consent unless required by law.

8. Photography & Marketing

   No photographs or videos will be used for marketing purposes without separate written consent.

   Clients may withdraw marketing consent at any time.

9. Liability

   While every effort is made to provide treatment safely and professionally, clients acknowledge the inherent risks associated with Hijama and massage therapy.

   Proud Mu'min Method Hijama shall not be held liable for adverse outcomes arising from undisclosed medical conditions, failure to follow advice, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

10. Islamic Disclaimer

    Proud Mu'min Method Hijama follows the Sunnah practice of Hijama and aims to promote wellbeing through prophetic traditions.

    Hijama should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional medical care, emergency treatment, or prescribed medication.
